Author – Weston, Paddy

Published in: Time & Tide Vol 9

A personal reminiscence by Paddy Weston of his life at sea during the 1950s as a Radio Officer. Amongst the many tales of memorable journeys is a gripping account of a journey from Liverpool to Australia in which fire broke out in one of the holds and continued to rage, despite the efforts of the crew, for well over a week while the ship altered course for Colombo, Sri Lanka.
