The paper was delivered at an SHS meeting in 1994 and a version donated to the archive in 2002.
Milverton Demesne, in the western part of Holmpatrick Parish, is where the author grew up. He says, “what I shall be attempting to do is to explain the story of a piece of landscape and offer some suggestions about the forces and influences that have shaped it”. There are photographs and drawings of the 3 Woods / Wentges houses that have been on the site and of the beautiful landscape. (24 pages).
