An account of The Dublin Lockout and Farm Labourer’s Dispute of 1913.  It deals with the social conditions in Dublin City and County which lead to the strike and the interplay between the Irish Transport and General Workers Union, the United Irish League and Sinn Fein, amongst others. 

It makes use of reports from various newspapers including the Irish Independent, Irish Times, Freeman’s Journal, Drogheda Independent, Drogheda Argus, Meath Chronicle, Leinster Journal and Daily Sketch.  (28 pages).
