Bills of Complaint, 1875. 25 statements to try to prove the landlord’s rights to the foreshore and islands and his ownership of seaweed, etc. Defendants were Att.-General and 25 local men. Rights of landlord confirmed. Defendant’s appeal dismissed. The folder also contains a poster or public notice issued on 10th. December 1881 by the landlord, announcing the decree made on 7/8/1880 confirming his rights and that an appeal by the defendants 28/11/1881 had been dismissed.
